Function | An alternative shock-treatment based on oxygen release that doesn't release chlorine smells. It is mainly used on Spas on a weekly basis to give a boost of oxidising agent to kill off any bacteria that might be present. |
Pool Shock Dose | Add 500g per 10,000 gallons of pool water in 100g quantities at a time. | Chlorine/Bromine Spas | Shock weekly with Oxy Shock. Add 30g per 1,000 litres of water. | Oxy Shock treated Spas | Add 30g daily per 1,000 litres of water. Bathers can return after 30 minutes. Shock dose weekly by adding 100g per 1,000 litres of water. | Whirlpool Baths | Add 25g directly into the bath water after bathing. Run the pump for 5-6 minutes then drain to waste. For irregularly used baths add 100g before bathing and run pump for 10 minutes, drain and refill to bathe. |
