Energy Saving Solar Gain Swimming Pool Covers are manufactured in the UK and are made from superior grade 400 and 500 micron Sol+Guard polyethylene material which includes a UV inhibitor.

Advantages

• Eliminate Water Evaporation by 98% + - With a Sol+Guard pool cover you will be able to eliminate water evaporation by over 98%, thus greatly reducing your water consumption and your water charges, as well as saving a vital natural resource.
• Reduce Chemical Consumption by up to 30% - A Sol+Guard cover can help reduce chemical losses by evaporation by up to 30% when it is in use. All pool chemical levels and treatment should be maintained at the manufacturers recommended levels.
• Reduce Energy Consumption by over 50% - A Sol+Guard cover will eliminate evaporation and greatly reduce radiation. Plastipack’s heat retention tests carried out in collaboration with the Brighton and London Metropolitan Universities, showed conclusive energy savings of over 50%. This applied to oil, gas, electric heater or heat pump usage. Where solar heating is used, it is possible to invest in half the amount of panels.
• Reduce Debris Contamination - Debris such a leaves, dirt, insects and bird droppings are not only unsightly in a pool but also provide nutrients for algae and bacteria to feed on. When the pool is covered these contaminants will be kept out of the water, greatly improving the quality and appearance of the water.

The Solar Gain Covers are available in 3 styles

	Standard Swimming Pool Covers Plain edged swimming pool cover which is easily trimmed on site
	Deluxe Solar Swimming Pool Cover This cover has sealed salvedge edges or hemming on the long sides of the cover that helps prevent the cover from chaffing. Plus, it has the benefit of tough reinforcing on the trailing edge and leading edge.
	Super Deluxe Solar Swimming Pool covers This is the deluxe cover with the sealed salvedges edges or hemming on the long sides of the cover, reinforcing on the trailing and leading edge. PLUS the benefit of a factory fitted leading edge floatation boom, bridle and towing rope. On larger pools this is a must.

Winter Debris Covers

The winter debris covers are made using the finest polypropylene mesh. Each cover is tailored to suit each individual pool and that includes kidney and other irregular shapes as well as cut outs for ladders and slides.

Each cover is made 600mm oversize to cover the coping stones and with generous corner reinforcing on the underside at each internal and external corner of the swimming pool. Stainless steel springs at regular intervals (usually 5') help you tension the cover so it does not sag. Twigs, litter and other debris simply blow away without getting into your pool.

There are three types of winter debris cover available.

Classic Cover With spacing at regular intervals, generous corner patches, stainless steel springs. Super Webb Is the Classic with strong webbing extending across the width and length of the cover. This helps tension the cover and is great if you have a windy location. Royale Is the same specification as the Classic with a generous pvc skirt on the underside that is great if your coping stones are rough or uneven. The stainless steel fixings are closer together which is necessary if the pool is an irregular shape.
