A granular form of shock treatment for swimming pools. Can also be used as a chlorine sanitiser for indoor pools. Not suitable for spas.
Pool Dose
To increase the free chlorine level by 1 ppm add 75 grams per 10,000 gallons.
Pool Shock Dose
Once a fortnight (or more often in warmer weather), add 500 grams per 10,000 gallons of pool water. If algae is present you may need to double or even treble the recommended dose.
Dosing Method
Dissolve in a bucket of warm water and distribute around the pool or pour into the skimmer basket. Make sure your skimmer basket is free from all other types of chlorine before pouring it in.
Health and Safety
DO NOT MIX WITH ANY STABILISED CHLORINE AS IT WILL REACT VIOLENTLY! Please make sure your skimmer is free from all other types of chlorine before pouring it into the skimmer.
