Chemical: Potassium Peroxomonosulphate
Function: An alternative shock-treatment based on oxygen release that doesn't release chlorine smells. It is mainly used on Spas on a weekly basis to give a boost of oxidising agent to kill off any bacteria that might be present.

Dosing Instructions
Fill a clean plastic container with warm water and add the required amount of Oxy Shock to the container. Stir well with a clean wooden or plastic stirrer and then distribute evenly.
Pools: Add 500g per 10,000 gallons of pool water in 100g quantities at a time. Leave overnight. Test the chlorine/bromine level before re-entering the pool to ensure the level is not too high.
For Chlorine/Bromine treated Spas: Shock weekly with Oxy Shock. Add 30g per 1,000 litres of water. Leave overnight. Test the chlorine/bromine level before re-entering the pool to ensure the level is not too high.
For Oxy Shock treated Spas: Add 30g daily per 1,000 litres of water. Bathers can return after 30 minutes. Shock dose weekly by adding 100g per 1,000 litres of water. Leave overnight. Test the chlorine/bromine level before re-entering the pool to ensure the level is not too high.
Whirlpool Baths: Add 25g directly into the bath water after bathing. Run the pump for 5-6 minutes then drain to waste. For irregularly used baths add 100g before bathing and run pump for 10 minutes, drain and refill to bathe.
