An above ground pool is a brilliant addition to the garden in the summer months but it is important that you keep it safe to swim in by treating it with chemicals. We have made this easy for you by supplying a range of starter kits which contain all the chemicals you will need to get you going.

Which kit do I need?

We have split our kits into three sizes, which are based on the size of your pool. Although it is dependent on the weather and bather load, usually we find that the chemicals in the kit will last you the majority, if not all of the summer, providing you get the right kit for your size pool. We have made sure that each kit contains the key products you need (chlorine, a shock treatment, pH chemicals, test strips) with some kits containing some added extras as well.

Small Kit Range - For pools up to 12ft in diameter or up to 2000 gallons.

We have three kits in this range. The first is our Basic Starter Kit which is our budget kit and is great if you are looking for a cheap option. The downside to this kit is that it doesn't contain any chlorine tablets and relies solely on the chlorine granules for maintaining a chlorine level. This will make it more difficult to maintain the correct chlorine level and will require more work from you to ensure the levels are kept within the recommended limits. The other two kits (Small Pool Starter Kit & Small Pool Starter Kit with Multifunctional Tablets) are very similar and do contain 20g chlorine tablets, which will provide you with the peace of mind that you always have a constant source of chlorine going into your pool at all times. The only difference between the two kits is one contains our 20g Multifunctional Tablets instead of the standard 20g Stabilised Chlorine Tablets. This means you have the added benefit of the algaecide and flocculant in the multifunctional tablets and for only £1 more!

Large Kit Range - For pools 12ft to 15ft in diameter or 2000 gallons - 5000 gallons.

Again, we have three kits in this range. Our two large kits (Large Pool Starter Kit & Large Pool Starter Kit with Multifunctional Tablets) are just larger versions of the Small Pool Starter Kit & Small Pool Starter Kit with Multifunctional Tablets. The only difference is that each large kit contains 2.5kg of tablets and a large dispenser to account for the increase in chlorine you will need for the larger pool. The third kit in the range is our Deluxe Pool Starter Kit and this is the same as our Large Pool Starter Kit but with an extra bottle of Sparkle Water Clarifier and Polyquat Algaecide. The Sparkle will help you maintain that sparkling look to your pool whilst the algaecide will help keep algae at bay.

Maxi Kit Range - For pools over 15ft in diameter or over 5000 gallons.

The biggest kit we do is our Maxi Deluxe Starter Kit. This is a larger version of our Deluxe Starter Kit and contains more tablets, more granules and more algaecide. Perfect for large above ground pools!
